Google Families is an interactive experience that puts parents and families first. Helping you make technology work for your family.

Families are searching for answers about technology and their children more than ever. That’s where Google wanted to help out. By stepping in and creating a site dedicated to just that, helping families with technology. Everything from how much screen time is too much for my child to what are some fun online resources I can share with my child. Helping educate parents and children in a technology world that changes everyday.

I was extremely fortunate to be brought in to help design a user interface and build the site from the ground up.

Samsung Within is an interactive experience that put viewers in control and encouraged them to keep exploring.

Samsung wanted to turn users into brand advocates, but most of their users don’t know about the company. So we uncovered the brand’s most incredible untold stories and presented them in a new way. Each chapter had a unique digital interaction—from discovering the meaning of Samsung’s name in 360, to building the phone the world said was impossible, to answering the first phone call from the top of Everest. Following the launch, Brand Preference went up by 21% and Brand Pride increased by 14%—showing that Samsung had stories powerful enough to change perceptions. They just needed to be told.

Verizon as a go-to partner for expert advice, helpful information, and thought leadership...

Most of us know who Verizon is and what they do. They’re the largest wireless carrier in the united states and with 121 million subscribers that makes their impact and influence quite large.

With such a large impact they wanted their business arm to be as impactful as their consumer facing side. Thats where the site and how it can have an impact on the expansion of this particular section and my design skills come into play.

The Challenge:

Improve visitors’ perception of Verizon as a go-to partner for expert advice, helpful information, and thought leadership, thereby driving awareness, consideration, and ultimately, sales.

There is an opportunity to become an invaluable resource to visitors and elevate our position in thought leadership by creating a new, dedicated environment for information and ideas around our portfolio and offerings.

The Process:

Based off this feedback the team and I moved forward with helping create a more personalized and potentially unique navigation that would lay the groundwork for a more enriched site experience. While also including a enhanced tagging system for the large amount of content that was being added to help maximize the benefits of driving organic search.

A modern site for a unique financial technology company.

OpenFin is a financial technology company that provides a unified layer of applications for financial services. Their technology is a platform and ecosystem for financial applications, which allows their clients to unite in-house and third-party applications together in both display and functionality.

Their primary audience is Innovation Heads and C-Siute leads within Enterprise companies. Closely behind that are Engineer leads & teams in Startups to promote growth of customer base and industry adoption.

As a UX/UI designer I was brought in to make a better user experience and well rounded site experience across the web and mobile.

The Challenge:

OpenFin needs a new website that showcases their product’s benefits and functionality in a more business focused way. The challenge is to create a website look and feel that raises their perception and buzz within the industry.

The Process:

Based off the new identity Anybeast had been building, I needed to continue to build on the branding system while at the same time build the site. From the focus groups with the stakeholders we learned that all branded communications should elicit these emotions – confidence, honesty, and trustworthiness. While visually it should be a feeling of openness, simplicity, sophistication and energy.   

My partner and I then took this feedback and implemented it through out the design and wireframes. Once the general wireframes were laid out the creation of several conceptual design directions were developed. Then the team and I went in to executing a graphic treatment into the various benefits and themes of the Openfins products. Creating a master sketch file made it easier for us to keep the assets up to date and within the design system.

Modern families are often pressed for time while traveling. Navigating their way through the airport, finding food and keeping the kids occupied before the flight boards can be a stressful ordeal.

Chase wanted to create a progressive service that would answer this pain point for credit cardmembers without creating a physical space in the concourse or granting access to premium airline lounges. 

Recognizing the need for time-crunched travelers to find directions, flight updates and convenient dining, shopping and activity options on the go, we created an airport location-based app called Maven, a virtual concierge that cardmembers can carry in their pockets and around their wrists.

Thanks for being an fan of the brand.

Sparkling ICE has some of the greatest fans in the world. Constantly posting on social networks about what there favorite flavors are, what they love paring with their drinks and where they enjoy having them. Sparkling ICE wanted to reward some of their biggest fans with the opportunity to really be apart of the brand.

So we decided the best way to be apart of the brand was to give the fans the opportunity to put their face on the bottle of their choice. In addition to this there would also be daily and weekly prizes.
