Most of us know who Verizon is and what they do. They’re the largest wireless carrier in the united states and with 121 million subscribers that makes their impact and influence quite large.

With such a large impact they wanted their business arm to be as impactful as their consumer facing side. Thats where the site and how it can have an impact on the expansion of this particular section and my design skills come into play.

The Challenge:

Improve visitors’ perception of Verizon as a go-to partner for expert advice, helpful information, and thought leadership, thereby driving awareness, consideration, and ultimately, sales.

There is an opportunity to become an invaluable resource to visitors and elevate our position in thought leadership by creating a new, dedicated environment for information and ideas around our portfolio and offerings.

The Process:

Based off this feedback the team and I moved forward with helping create a more personalized and potentially unique navigation that would lay the groundwork for a more enriched site experience. While also including a enhanced tagging system for the large amount of content that was being added to help maximize the benefits of driving organic search.

General concept designs for a home page and design system.

Deeper exploration for the home page. Two different directions, one personalized version focused on direction 1, and alt versions for how the topic module might work.
